Building a NFL Team

I will be building the best team the average league salary cap can buy. This one will list the offense -- we'll do the defense next.
First here are the rules
We will be using the 2022 projected salary cap: $208.2 million
The players salary hit per year will be used.
I will be using what the player was paid in 2021
I can only use 7 players on their rookie contracts that were drafted through the first three rounds
I can only use 12 players on their rookie contacts that were drafted in the fourth round or later
Undrafted players on their first contracts can only be used 4 times
My offensive scheme is a West Coast offense, with a spread option formation as the main focus.
QBS: $7,878,126
Justin Herbert $6,040,626
Josh Rosen $850,000
Colt McCoy $987,500
There is nothing more lethal in football than a young QB that is cheap. While Patrick Mahomes would be nice, he has a massive contract anchoring him down which I don't find enticing. Also Herbert had a historic rookie season and then followed it up with a even better sophomore season. So yeah, Herbert is definitely the move. Rosen has been unlucky everywhere he has been, so I am giving Chosen Rosen another chance here. In case he can't get the job done, we have the veteran leadership of Colt McCoy to hold down the fort.
RBS:10,936,078
Leonard Fournette $3,250,000
Kenyan Drake. $3,000,000
Phillip Lindsay. $904,412
Cordarrelle Patterson 3,000,000 James Robinson 781,666
For RBS I went with Fournette because he has played well in Tampa Bay and he's relatively affordable. Kenyan Drake is a good pass catching back along with Cordarrelle Patterson who will also be the shifty do-it-all back. We'll use him like the 49ers use Deebo Samuel, and defensive coordinators will have to figure out how to stop him and also watch our wide receivers. Phillip Lindsay is young but also extremely cheap and can pound the rock through anyone. Robinson is a good straight-ahead runner who can also be a good receiving back.
WRS: $21,414,485
Stefon Diggs: $6,378,954
Cooper Kupp $5,300,000
Ja'Marr Chase $5,603,571
JuJu Smith-Schuster $2,400,000
Scotty Miller $881,960
Odell Beckham Jr. $850,000
I have Diggs and Chase who can beat anyone deep while triple crown winner Cooper Kupp is a all around threat. Plus JuJu is here to do TikToks and we also have Scotty"2 hot" Miller to be a slot threat. OBJ is here because he is so good as a deep threat. That $850,000 was just for his time with the Rams, but since he got hurt in the Super Bowl maybe he'd take this for 2022 and as long as he can be healthy for the playoffs, it's a bargain.
TE:$7,488,855
Dallas Goedert $3,687,966
Robert Tonyan $1,504,800
Dalton Schultz $2,296,089
Robert Tonyan is a underated player who should have at least one Pro Bowl. Dalton Schultz is a good blocking and pass catching threat, while Dallas Goedert can go through anyone. Not only are these tight ends big and strong, but they also are quick and have great hands.
OL: $42,202,210
Orlando Brown $3,384,000
Trent Williams $8,187,647
Joe Thuney $4,500,000
Quenton Nelson $7,771,018
David Andrews $1,727,941
Rodney Hudson $2,860,000
Wyatt Teller $2,677,800
Kyle Long $1,500,000
Ryan Ramczyk $5,273,216
Morgan Moses $4,320,588
I spent a lot of money here because a good offensive line is one of the most important things in football. It has to give the QB enough time to throw a pass. Even the best QB in the world is ineffective if he can't get a pass off.
Total money spent on offense is $89,919,754
I have $116,490,246 left for the defense and special teams.
The defense will be next and after that will be the simulation to see how they do.
