10 Offseason Predictions

Before footage gets released that shows Tom Brady paying the referees, I thought I would do a offseason predictions list. Disclaimer: This is my opinion about what would happen. If you disagree with me, then deal with it because this is my blog. Anyway, let's get to the NFL offseason. This predictions list is in no particular order.
Steelers sign J.J Watt
J.J Watt will be a interesting free agent now that he has been the latest player to escape from Houston. His entire career he has been in Houston, thanks to Jacksonville picking Blaine Gabbart before him. How did that work out, Jaguar fans? He will most likely sign with the Steelers to play with his brothers T.J and Derek Watt. That will be a high-wattage team. That's my dad's joke, so blame him if you don't think it is funny.
Jets trade back to get picks
I know what you're thinking ... why on earth would the Jets trade away the number 2 overall pick? Simple. The Jets are at the point where they need more than a quarterback to get better. So they will trade back to get picks to make sure the team is deeper and has more young talent. Jet fans, hopefully your next QB develops unlike the last couple did. Is anyone else preparing to laugh at the Jets draft decisions? I would predict that Jet fans will boo but they do that already so that's a Captain Obvious prediction.
The Bears dump their QBs and trade for Carson Wentz
Even with rumors that the Bears will resign Mitch Trubisky, Chicago fans want something more from their quarterback. So they will trade for Carson Wentz so they have a better QB (but a worse contract). Their defense will make them playoff contenders, but they need a QB to make a run. Will they make the move? Who in their righteous mind would take on Foles contract? We will find out this offseason!
The Falcons blow their team up by trading Matt Ryan and Julio Jones
Atlanta has to blow it up. This core can't take the team to the top. So the Falcons will trade away Matty Ice and Never Catches Touchdowns Jones to dip into rebuild mode. They are the true chokers in football. 28-3 will be this teams legacy. But the sad thing is that it's not just that. Its choking against the Cowboys, Bears, Lions and Chiefs and Bucs and then in the playoffs against the Eagles. You want to know a fact about the Falcons? At one point during this season the Falcons had a record of 28-34 since 28-3. SOUND FAMILIAR?
Dak heads into free agency
The Cowboys won't resign Dak Prescott and he will get a big payday with another team. If he gets tagged as a franchise player, he will just complain until he gets traded anyway. He will probaly get $100 million guaranteed with the 49ers -- and be a below .500 QB who won't win a playoff game.
Chiefs go big for big name defensive players and linemen
The Chiefs really need a defense, as well as any linemen so Patrick Mahomes isn't running for his life again next season. So they will spend money on guys like J.J Watt, or Von Miller, or even Melvin Ingram. They could get Trent Williams or Russell Okung. To get back to the Super Bowl they will need all of them to win, and also enough cash to match the bribes that Tom Brady gives to the officials.
Eagles sign receivers and trade Wentz
The Eagles will trade Wentz to the Bears, like I wrote earlier, and then try to sign some receivers to build around Jalen Hurts. They will need to sign a guy like Allen Robinson, T.Y. Hilton or Sammy Watkins. With help at receiver Hurts could be able to improve his arm and feet and could become a Top 10 QB. And if it doesn't work out, Nick Foles is available in a trade from Da Bears.
Patriots trade Edelman, Gilmore, and Hightower to go into rebuild mode
America cheers in unison. THE PATRIOTS ARE DEAD. They will trade every big piece, including Julian Edelman, Stephon Gilmore and Donta Hightower, to rebuild their roster. They will have a lot of good picks in the future which they can use to make the team better. Hopefully not though. Nobody wants them to succeed.
Cardinals and Bengals sign every offensive linemen they can
These two teams need offensive line help BADLY! They will spend every dime that they have to help save their young franchise quarterbacks' life. When they do that, Kyler Murray and Joe Burrow won't have to scramble all the time when they have no time in the pocket.
Chargers will make the playoffs after signing Allen Robinson and Jadeveon Clowney
Justin Herbert will be MVP ... IF this team get Robinson and Clowney. That means the Chargers can challenge the Chiefs for the division title. Kennan Allen will be a great weapon for Herbert and they will make the playoffs. Hopefully Dean Spanos won't get in the way and whatever curse is holding this team back will be countered.
The Colts will miss the playoffs because they won't be able to find a QB
This is where you wish Andrew Luck hadn't retired. The sad thing is, that this roster is really talented but they won't make it because of their QB. They won't be able to sign one because they wont have the cap. So Colts fans, are you calling Phillip Rivers and pleading him to come back?
There are my thoughts on this offseason. See you next time.
